I am passionate and experienced in the field of pre-hospital care, both through professional and voluntary endeavours. I have worked for South East Coast Ambulance Service at various grades for 13 years, and prior to this responded to patients as a Community First Responder and within the voluntary sector. I also have a background in training and staff development with a particular interest in using my skills and experience to further the education of others. I am experienced in the management of both volunteers and paid staff ranging from small community teams to large county-wide groups. I have a firm belief in the need for continual professional development and life-long learning, and a commitment to developing evidence based clinical excellence in both myself and others. I believe in the importance of maintaining a flexible approach to problem solving and enjoy supporting others to achieve their full potential. Outside of work I enjoy rock climbing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
