The following video was produced in May 2020 as a collaborative effort amongst a number of colleagues to highlight the importance of seeking support from others when it is needed. The concept originated from an idea to share a message of overarching support without necessarily signposting an individual to any particular service, thereby removing any time constraints or political affiliations.
The video was launched on Monday 18th May and distributed through Facebook, accompanied by the following message:
‘The big green family’ - what does it really mean?
It means no matter who you are, where you are, or why you need it, there is always someone to talk to.
It means that when you’re done being strong for others, you can let somebody else be strong for you.
It means that from your very first day in the job, you belong to a network of people who understand.
It means that even when you don’t feel you need, want, or deserve it, help is there.
And just like any family, it’s members range from the weird to the wonderful, so there is always somebody you can relate to.
